Sermon Notes:
Christmas has become a very busy time of year for many of us. Shopping, and parties, and trips to see the family are only a few of the things that fill up our calendars. Christmas sure feels like a season when time speeds up. But what if it didn’t have to be that way?
For our advent sermon series this year, Pastors Randy Roberts and Roy Ice present a different view: Christmas: When Time Slows Down.
Christmas for Joseph, the stepdad of Jesus, must have felt like a long series of interruptions. His wedding plans were interrupted by an unplanned pregnancy. His work interrupted by a census. His marriage interrupted by a ministry, and the list goes on. Christmas does not always feel like a relaxed moment while you wait for Jesus to come into your life. So, is it possible that it is within the interruptions of life that Jesus comes to us as well?
May you be blessed today as we enter our advent series.
