Welcome to Camp Meeting 2013! I am delighted that you’ve chosen to worship with
us today—and hopefully all month! The sermon theme for first and second service
is Home. We will explore five themes germane to living family life to the full. We will
do this by meandering through our homes and taking note of different locations or
elements in our homes and what they might represent. It will take insight, courage
and prayer—but the end is worth the journey! Join us each week! Today we begin in
the kitchen. What lessons and insights does our home kitchen offer us?

The Camp Meeting 2013 theme for Re:Live is HomeGROWN. Our focus turns
to you who are young adults, grown, ready to leave or having already left home,
launching or already launched into life. In what way do each of the five themes we
explore in first and second service affect your lives? What choices and actions face
you, and what insights will help you to make the wisest choices for life ahead?

We owe gratitude and appreciation to so many who make camp meeting possible
each year. For the moment, I limit my expression of appreciation to three individuals/groups. First, Marian Wagner has worked tirelessly on the camp meeting set.
Thank you, Marian! Second, Michael Isidro has produced exceptional sermon intro
videos for first and second service. To him I express our appreciation. Third, our media department, led by Stew Harty, is ever deserving of our deep gratitude. This is
even more true at camp meeting.
