Pastoral Welcome: Marvin Ponder
Baptism: Jessica Paige Ramos - Rob Mohr
Children’s Feature: Shawna Campbell
Meditation:
“We should not ask “what is wrong with the world?” for that diagnosis has already been given. Rather, we should ask, “What has happened to the salt and light?” -- John Stott
“Evangelism is just one beggar telling another beggar where to find bread.” -- D.J. Niles
“The last rays of merciful light, the last message of mercy to be given to the world, is a revelation of His character of love. The children of God are to manifest His glory. In their own life and character they are to reveal what the grace of God has done for them.” -- Ellen G. White
“If your gospel isn’t touching others, it hasn’t touched you!”
Scripture Reading: Mark 5:21–29, TNIV Dillon Liang
Sermon Notes:
Today we journey with a lonely, sick and destitute woman whose story is
recorded in the pages of scripture. I invite you to immerse yourself in the
sights, the sounds and the emotions of the moment when she and Jesus
looked into each other’s eyes. This holy moment, when divinity and humanity meet, takes place only because someone cared to share a story. In the
context of our current sermon series, the unknown character of this story
gives us an idea that doesn’t ruin the church!
