Sermon Description:

Let me take this opportunity to extend my congratulations, along with those of the
entire church, to the 2013 graduates of Loma Linda Academy! This weekend represents the culmination of four years of hard work, sleepless nights, and large school
bills! And yet, as you graduate this weekend you realize it has been worth it all.
Enjoy this milestone moment in your life!

The current Re:Live sermon series is based on 1 Corinthians 13, the chapter where
Paul says, “Love is the greatest!” Today we focus on the verses at the heart of the
chapter where love’s qualities are addressed. It provides us with a great opportunity
to measure the love in our lives against the divine standard.

Three weeks ago we completed a series with Lee and Marji Venden titled All About
Jesus. It was a deeply satisfying and transformative experience for so many who
participated. I personally walked away from the week with a renewed desire and
commitment to focus my life and ministry with even greater passion on Jesus. The
sermon, then, for second service today, is based on the Philippians passage where
Paul himself underlines the same focus in his life. As we study this passage, it is my
hope and prayer that that same passion will beat in your heart and soul. May knowing him become our one purpose.
