Sermon Notes:
Have you ever felt like life was just about as miserable as it could be? You wondered if you would ever again see light at the end of the tunnel or another rainbow? We all experience good days and bad days. We all have our ups and downs, smooth roads and rough roads, valleys and mountaintops. You may be here this morning thinking, “Is this message for me? Today is not a good day--things have not gone well this week. I have been waiting and waiting for something to change--but it hasn’t. I pray and there seems to be no answer.” If you feel like that, you may not be alone. I think we have all felt like that from time to time. Keep in mind; God’s Word is true. God has promised a better day. And, while you and I are waiting for that better day to come--for that answered prayer to arrive, let’s remember that God is fine-tuning us in the waiting room of life. The time that passes by is time the Lord uses to mold us and shape us. As we consider the message this morning, hold on, a better day is coming.
