Sermon Notes:
Here’s hoping you had a great Thanksgiving! To those who are our guests on this
Thanksgiving weekend, we hope you feel welcome and at home.
The messages of three ancient angels have been our focus in our current short sermon
series. These three angels trumpet their calls in Revelation 14. Today we listen for the
message of the third angel. Just one short read through this message is enough to send
chills up and down our spines. It clearly is an urgent message. However, its cataclysmic
and disturbing images may frighten us enough that we don’t linger long enough to hear its
message for today. So what is its vital meaning for us today, and, more to the point, what
does it tell us about preparation for the advent of Christ?
As we study this message, my prayer is that we will be open to all that the Spirit of Jesus has
to offer us.
With gratitude to God for all his blessings —
Randy Roberts
