Sermon Notes:
The dictionary defines integrity in at least three ways. First, it is “adherence to moral and ethical principles; soundness of moral character; honesty.” Second, it is “the state of being whole, entire, or undiminished.” And third, it is “a sound, unimpaired, or perfect condition.” One way these might be summarized is to say that a person with integrity is a person with whom what you see is what you get; a person who maintains with clarity who he/she is, no matter where he/she is; a person who is truthful in his/her life. Clearly, integrity is central to character.
Our series on character, True North, continues today with an examination of integrity. Why is it so vital to character? How can it be developed and maintained? And how can I, as a sometimes-victorious and sometimes-faltering follower of Jesus, be a person of integrity while living in a world of sin?
Join us as we address such concerns today.
